Dragi prijateli motociklisti,

Dear motorcycle friends,
As of today (1.7.2025), we have 30 members.

On 30.6.2025, the term of office of the club leadership, President Franci Bogataj and Secretary Primož Mihelič, ended.

In the past term, the club operated successfully and, among other things, carried out two opening and two closing rides, two ten-day rides, one in Corsica and one in Provence, a few gatherings without motorcycles, also two Christmas-New Year gatherings and a coffee ride with the president, whom we would like to thank on this occasion for the successful leadership of the club.

On 1.7.2025, the term of office of the club leadership, President Primož Mihelič and Secretary Bojana Košnik Čuk, began.

In the spirit of friendship between Rotarians and camaraderie among motorcyclists, we will do our best to serve you.

Our motorcycle section is recognized as the largest and most active in District 1912. We would like the section to remain the most active and recognizable in the future.

Activities and events that have proven to be popular and well-attended so far remain on the program; a one-day opening ride in April, coffee at the president's, a Christmas-New Year's meeting under the lights on Prešeren Square in Ljubljana, a central multi-day ride abroad in late May or early June, and a final ride in early October along the Adriatic Highway.

Based on the initiatives and suggestions of members, we will be happy to add another activity or event to the program.

Several members suggested that we try to meet in larger numbers once a year, where members who otherwise attend events less often or cannot attend them at all at some point due to health and other challenges could also attend the meeting. We agreed that joint participation in the district conference could be a good opportunity. Many of us attend it anyway because of functions in the parent club, the place and time of the conference are determined and communicated by the district sufficiently prominently and early enough that we do not miss the invitation, and that we can plan our attendance in time. We could attend the conference by motorbike and perform there together as IFMR members. Anyone who could not come by motorbike could attend the conference and our meeting by arriving by car. This would be a great opportunity for us to meet in larger numbers, and for others to notice us, so we invite you to reserve the time of the district conference in 2026 for our meeting as well.
